Getting Here
Where Do We Meet?
Meet at the driving range on arrival. Follow the car park round to the right, past the clubhouse. The range is located approximately 200 yards past the first tee — there is a car park up there. I'll meet you at the range.
Where Is Cowdray Park Golf Club?
Cowdray Park Golf Club is located just outside Midhurst, West Sussex — GU29 0BB. Free parking is available on site. Haslemere train station is approximately 10 miles away.
Do I Need To Be A Cowdray Member To Book?
Not at all — lessons are open to everyone. Non-members are very welcome. The only difference is a slightly different lesson rate, which you can see on the Plans & Pricing page.
What To Bring & Wear
What Should I Wear?
Comfortable golf or sports clothing is ideal. Soft spikes or trainers are perfectly fine — no specialist footwear is required. Just wear anything you feel comfortable in.
What Should I Bring?
Bring your own clubs if you have them. Balls are provided so no need to worry about those. If you're a complete beginner and don't have clubs yet, just let me know in advance and I'll sort something out for you.
Lessons & Packages
How Many Lessons Will I Need?
It depends on your goals and current level, but most clients start to see real, noticeable improvement over 4–6 sessions. Real changes to a golf swing take time and repetition — which is why a package is the most effective way to make lasting progress.
I've Never Played Golf Before — Can I Still Book?
Absolutely — complete beginners are very welcome. I coach golfers of all abilities, from those picking up a club for the very first time through to single-figure handicappers. There's no wrong place to start.
What Happens In A Typical Lesson?
Every lesson is tailored to you. I'll begin by understanding your goals and your current game, then use a combination of video analysis and data to identify exactly what's happening in your swing. From there the session is focused on practical improvement — not just theory. You'll leave with clear things to work on before your next session.
Weather & Facilities
What Happens If It Rains?
Lessons go ahead in all weathers. Cowdray Park has excellent undercover facilities including a dedicated swing studio and covered hitting bays on the driving range, so rain is never a reason to cancel.
What Facilities Are Available?
Cowdray Park has outstanding practice facilities including a dedicated swing studio with Trackman 4 launch monitor, a 280-yard driving range with covered bays, a short game area, a practice putting green, a 5-hole academy course, and the full 18-hole championship course for on-course sessions.

Cancellations
What Is The Cancellation Policy?
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the full lesson rate. If you need to reschedule, just get in touch as early as possible and I'll do my best to find an alternative slot.
